Do you accept dental insurance?

We accept most dental insurance, either in-network or out-of-network. Oftentimes, the percentage your insurance pays for out-of-network treatment is the same as for in-network, so don't hesitate to schedule with us, even if we are not in-network with your insurance. We will do everything possible to maximize your benefits, and we can give you a breakdown of those benefits before we do treatment. We are in network with the following insurance providers:

  • Aetna PPO
  • Ameritas PPO
  • Always Care/UNUM
  • BCBS
  • Careington
  • Cigna PPO

What is endodontics?

Endodontics is the diagnosis, management, and treatment of disease of the pulp and surrounding bone of the tooth. The pulp is the innermost tissue of the tooth and consists of blood vessels, various cells, and the nerves of the tooth. If the pulp becomes inflamed or infected, then endodontic therapy, also known as root canal therapy, may be needed.

What is a root canal?

A root canal can remove the source of the infection, alleviate discomfort, and ultimately help the patient maintain the natural tooth. An endodontist has undergone additional training beyond dental school and specializes in root canal therapy.
